The Project:
AWS Global Summits are free, large-scale technology events that bring the cloud computing community together to connect, collaborate and learn about Amazon Web Services (AWS). With exponential growth in attendance and sponsor numbers, the event required a robust network infrastructure capable of supporting every critical digital service.
The show has grown from 33 sponsors and around 3,000 attendees in 2015 to 99 sponsors and around 12,000 attendees in 2024.
Our Solution:
It took 22km of Cat6 data cabling to build the network infrastructure for this large-scale technology summit, supporting more than 99 sponsors and 12,000 delegates.
Noba designed and installed the structured cabling, providing over 250 hardwired network connections and more than 4,000 cable terminations, together with on-site technical support throughout the event build and live operation.
Working alongside Sleek, Noba delivered the physical network infrastructure that supported registration systems, keynote theatres, breakout sessions, networking areas, demonstrations and operational services. By ensuring the underlying infrastructure was installed, tested and supported throughout the event, we helped provide the foundation for the successful delivery of AWS Summit London.
