The Project:

Barcode Festival is an extraordinary B2B festival-style event for the grocery industry that provides businesses with a unique opportunity to showcase products to thousands of industry professionals.

The event attracts more than 100+ sponsors and 300 FMCG businesses for an inclusive summer event with headline acts, brand activations, and complimentary food and drink provided by the industry’s best-known brands and exciting trailblazers.

Our Solution:

Barcode Festival takes over the entirety of Magazine London, utilising all interior and exterior areas and therefore requires a site-wide wireless and hardwired network. The network needs to be capable of supporting sponsors, brands, artists, guests, ticketing, accreditation and payments.

Following a recent network upgrade, Magazine London now boasts a new generation Ruckus Wireless infrastructure, which means users will enjoy the full benefits that WiFi 7 brings, including accelerated connectivity. Ultra-low latency, rock-solid reliability, wired-like responsiveness and enhanced privacy and security.

As one of the most high-tech venues in London, a 5Gbps internet connection will soon be available alongside the very latest in network technology.

Challenges:

The initial intelligent network design that Noba installed at Magazine London was created to be scalable and future-proof.  This means upgrading the network infrastructure to meet the WiFi needs of any size event is straightforward.

With the site-wide fibre infrastructure and high-speed connectivity throughout the venue, we can easily accommodate even the most demanding network requirements.
