The Project:

Tate Modern has over a hundred years of art, from modernism in the early 1900s, to exciting works created today. This includes paintings, sculptures, and more made by artists all over the world. Choose from the venues impressive spaces to include The Turbine Hall & Bridge, The East Room, The Members Bar, The Kitchen Bar, The Eyal Ofer Level 3 Concourse, The Natalie Bell Level 2 Concourse, The Starr Auditorium Foyer, The Tanks, The Tanks Foyer, Blavatnik Building Level 4 Concourse, Blavnatnik Level 2 Concourse, The South Room, The Restaurant, and Level 10 Viewing Concourse.

Challenges:

With half of the event spaces buried in concrete and steel lined tanks under the ground, flawless wireless coverage is essential to ensure that guests and events are able to connect to the outside world. This means that the network design must provide a solution for every aspect of a live event, including services like streaming and on demand demonstrations, and connecting guests throughout the venue, even when at full capacity.

Our Solution:

Noba has been awarded a 3-year partnership with the Tate Modern as their event connectivity partner, connecting live events across the vast range of spaces available to hire.

Noba provides a semi-permanent installation and maintained wireless solution throughout the building. Utilising this core installation we are able to offer the flexibility needed for such a dynamic venue with competitive costs that a permanent installation offers.
